Born and raised in Manila, Patt Abutog is a full-time Graphic Designer. She often doodles uncontrollably on whatever medium she can get her hands on, either traditional or digital, incorporating distorted anatomical figures and organic forms. She contrasts harmony of strong vibrant colours and soft pastels, rough textures and free flowing lines, akin to the wild private musings found in a secret journal. Her work reflects her daily personal ramblings, the female body with its raw and uncanny features, and an aesthetic bordered between ugly and pretty, all wrapped into one unsettling package.
